Description

The IG55 fire suppression system is an inert gas fire suppression device composed of 50% nitrogen (N₂) and 50% argon (Ar), belonging to the category of clean gas fire suppression systems. This system extinguishes fires by reducing the oxygen concentration within the protected area, producing no chemical residues, and is suitable for data centers, power facilities, communication equipment rooms, and other locations with high-value equipment.

Working Principle of the IG55 Fire Suppression System

IG55 is an inert gas fire suppression technology, and its extinguishing mechanism is based on "oxygen dilution."

When the system is activated, high-pressure IG55 gas is released into the protected area through the pipeline network, reducing the oxygen concentration in the air to approximately 12%–15%, below the concentration required for combustion, thereby rapidly suppressing the flame.
